About Us

Reality Escapes designs, builds and maintains landscapes and pools across Sydney, the Illawarra and the South Coast of NSW. With one team handling everything from concept through to long term care, our clients expect quality at every stage, and so do we.

We are building a team of people who want to grow, take on real responsibility and help shape a business that is serious about becoming Australia’s most trusted name in outdoor living.

About the Role

You’ve put in the years on the tools. The next step is becoming the apprentice the crew relies on.

We are looking for an experienced 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice to join Team Reality full time. The role sits one step below a Landscape Tradesman and suits someone edging closer to qualification who wants to become a top performer on site.

You will take ownership of sections of residential landscape and pool projects from setout through to completion: retaining walls, paving and stonework, decking and screening, drainage, irrigation, planting and turf, plus pool works alongside our tradespeople. You will work from plans, operate machinery, help plan the day with your Project Foreman and guide the junior apprentices coming up behind you.

This is the place to refine the skills you have built over the last few years, with a clear pathway to Landscape Tradesman and, as the business grows, Project Foreman.

What We Are Looking For

  • In the 3rd or 4th year of a landscaping apprenticeship (Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent)

  • Solid hands-on experience across residential landscaping. Exposure to pool construction viewed favourably

  • Able to read and work from construction and landscape plans

  • Experience operating excavators, bobcats and skid steers

  • Able to complete tasks independently and to a high standard with minimal supervision

  • Willing to guide and support junior apprentices

  • Clear, professional communication with the team and our clients

  • White card and current driver’s licence. Additional licences and tickets viewed favourably

What We Offer

For the right person, this is the final step towards becoming a qualified Landscape Tradesman, with a team that will invest in getting you there.

  • A clear pathway to Landscape Tradesman, then Project Foreman

  • Real responsibility on site, with the support to step up to it

  • Experience across every part of landscape and pool construction

  • Investment in your development through skills-based training and courses

  • A workplace where craft is respected and quality is non-negotiable

  • A solid team culture with regular events that bring the group together

If that sounds like the right place for you, we want to hear from you. Complete the form below to apply.
