Our Story

Our story starts in Southern Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2018 by best mates, Phil Walker & Brett Atkin. Having already spent their entire landscaping careers together with a shared passion for surf, skate and music culture and good times in general, Reality Escapes was born on the idea of transforming spaces for people that loved the outdoors as much as they did.

Fast forward to 2024, Reality Escapes stands as a multi-disciplinary landscape design and construction firm with a renowned portfolio of landscaping projects across Sydney, the Illawarra and South Coast NSW. Backed by an experienced and dedicated team of landscape designers, builders, carpenters, pool builders, bricklayers and project managers, we design and deliver custom outdoor spaces to perfectly match the unique lifestyles of their owners.
